The Berry Tavern is a hidden gem! A taste of the North End outside of the city! We drive from a few towns away at least once a month to enjoy dinner here and have even hosted birthday parties and other events here. We have tried most things on the menu and never had a meal we didn’t love. The homemade pastas are our favorite in any sauce! The pizza is crisp and delicious. The chicken marsala is our kids favorite and it is out of this world. Whether you’re looking for a place to grab some apps and a drink, a pizza, dinner or host an event, you won’t be disappointed.
Everything about The Berry Tavern lived up to a high standard. First time there brought a big party and from the service to the food to the decor I highly recommend you visit the Berry Tavern. The Coffee was hot, good, and fresh. I had the Veal Saltimbocca and for a finale the best Carrot Cake I honestly have had.
We enjoyed an extraordinary experience, thanks to the remarkable staff who welcomed our group of four without reservations. The evening ended with a fine Jonnie Walker Blue Label, beautifully concluding a lovely night. Additionally, we met the manager/owner, who was impressively gracious. This standout location is highly recommended for visitors in the area.
4th time back, and won't be the last! I enjoyed the Bacon wrapped Scallops- wonderfully prepared. The blackened swordfish which was PERFECTLY cooked and paired with a very tasty spinach risotto. Swordfish is a more difficult fish to cook, so shout-out to the chef. The Tiramisu was to die for. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming and the service provided to family was once again stellar. The prices for this level of food in my own opinion is unbeatable. Well done Berry Tavern
The Berry Tavern on a Friday night was crowded but it was definitely worth the waiting maybe like 1/2 hr. We sat outside to wait but it was getting a little chilly so we decided to eat inside. I thought I was going to get pizza when we first thought about going there because it had wood fired pizza our favorite type, but then I saw the menu which looked absolutely wonderful so I got the lemon capers haddock which was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t finish it all but I wanted to, but I just couldn’t finish. It was really really good And my husband got the chicken with the string beans and mashed potatoes and he said it was excellent so we will definitely go there again and try the fire pizza oven nexttime.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
BERRY'S IS AMAZING! Beef tips were the best I have ever eaten and lobster ravioli was to die for. My wife had one of their own creations that included shrimp and scallops in a margarita sauce (pictured). Our waitress Mel was the cream of the crop providing fantastic service and spot on recommendations, and so friendly a real boon to the establishment. Eat here, you won't be disappointed!!
Stopped in on a whim after hiking. The food was phenomenal, and Mel R. Was awesome. I went with the Benevento Chicken, and my friend got the clams with linguine; we split pumpkin ravioli. The portion sizes were large. We will be back to try the 9 other things I wish I'd gotten, too.
